Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• 5+ years of procurement and supply chain experience required.
• Proficiency with Excel; Fishbowl or similar inventory systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing activities for materials, equipment, services, and subcontracts while maintaining alignment across the organization's procurement processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing outcomes through strategic sourcing, pricing analysis, and supplier research.
• Assess current procurement practices and systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement processes and best practices that promote greater efficiency.
• Develop productive working relationships with key suppliers to support procurement needs and initiatives.
• Create, introduce, and maintain purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines across the firm while negotiating contracts with vendors for materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance through evaluations, reporting, cost-savings metrics, delivery performance, purchase price variance, and other key measures.
