Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the development and execution of procurement strategies across assigned categories. You will build relationships with business leaders, suppliers, and internal customers to maximize value and optimize our supply chain.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or manufacturing leadership, strong financial analysis and budgeting skills, and experience with purchasing principles.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent preferred, but not required with suitable business or manufacturing leadership experience
• 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Finance or equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership
• Financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience
• Knowledge of purchasing principles, sourcing, and commodity pricing methods

Responsibilities

• Develop & implement commodity strategies to minimize risk and drive supplier performance
• Identify and prioritize procurement initiatives; allocate appropriate time and resources to ensure timely completion
• Provide procurement leadership to the business by assisting with market assessment, risk management, strategy development, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Actively contribute to and assist with the development of market leading, exciting new products
• Provide forecasts and analysis for financial, capital, strategic planning, and budgeting; educate leadership on market dynamics and metrics
