Job summary

US1490 North Star Seafood, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to direct daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities, ensure accuracy and timeliness of orders, and manage costs in a way that aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will lead Warehouse Supervisors, coordinate cross‑department initiatives, and drive improvements in inventory control, safety, and service levels while mentoring a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or 10+ years' equivalent education and experience.
• 5-7 years of related operations and management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong budgeting understanding and ability to interpret P&Ls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily workload and safety of Warehouse Supervisors and associates.
• Review and set priorities to ensure orders are correct, complete and leave on time.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure upgrades and repairs are completed efficiently.
• Establish processes to meet inventory management goals and improve service levels.
• Coach and develop a team balancing productivity, quality and customer service.
• Oversee staff selection, performance reviews and corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular department meetings to communicate policy changes and gather ideas.
