Lineage in Bedford Park, IL is seeking an Operations Manager to provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for a mid-sized warehouse. You will recruit, train, and develop staff, drive KPI performance, and manage costs and safety programs.

You will collaborate with sales to pursue new accounts, quote rates, negotiate contracts, and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires experience in Lean/Six Sigma and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years’ Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Proficiency in development and implementation of strategy/annual plans and cost/efficiency management.
• Experience with Six Sigma and/or LEAN continuous improvement processes.
• Experience managing, training, and developing people in operations roles.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Achieve company performance goals including KPIs such as Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and customer service standards.
• Review and analyze warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager on marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies and negotiating contracts.
• Establish and maintain focus on customer service and client relationships.
