Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manager, Warehouse & Distribution Management (Management Path) to lead daily warehouse and distribution center operations at the Johns Creek, GA site. You will optimize storage, manage inventory, and coordinate shipments while ensuring safety compliance and adherence to SOPs.

The role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to enable Direct-to-Consumer initiatives and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Fluent reading/writing in English.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3 years of demonstrated leadership.
• Location: Onsite – Johns Creek, GA.
• Travel: 0–10%.
• Schedule: 1st shift, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (flexible).
• Relocation/sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations to optimize storage space and material flows.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies to drive performance and excellence.
• Manage inventory and coordinate shipments, ensuring logistics efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GxP standards.
• Lead a team and drive productivity and engagement.
• Foster a culture of excellence through performance management and development.
• Communicate effectively to drive warehouse and distribution excellence.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain proper documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with distributors for Johns Creek distribution changes toward Direct-to-Consumer.
• Lead projects to reflect warehouse management and automation designs.
• Implement labor standards for key processes and assess operational improvements.
• Execute key projects supporting JCD distribution strategy.
• Drive cross-functional process improvement within JCD as part of Operational Excellence.
• Manage JCD Special operations (Returns, Sleeving).
• Lead a team of 3+ direct reports.
