Job summary

Alcon is seeking an IT Site Infrastructure Manager to lead the lifecycle management of the Johns Creek, GA site infrastructure for Manufacturing & Technical Operations. You will oversee data center, network, compute, security, and related services to ensure maximum uptime in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong Windows and networking expertise, and a collaborative, security-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related experience.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
5 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure services: data center, network, firewall, compute/servers, backup, capacity, vulnerability, cybersecurity, PC lifecycle, and print management.
Maintain a highly available, 24x7x360 site infrastructure to support a large manufacturing operation.
Serve as escalation point for incidents and problems; provide on-call IT support.
Collaborate with business and global IT functions to document requirements and propose compliant solutions.
Liaise with site IT Head on infrastructure planning, budgeting, and service delivery.
Coordinate multiple projects and ensure alignment with security and compliance policies.
