Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in Richmond, VA. The role drives safe, efficient storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods and leads a high-performing team across receiving, auditing and inventory control.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in warehouse/manufacturing processes, ERP systems (AS400 preferred), and proficiency with MS Office tools; APICS/ISM certifications are a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a High School diploma, preferably a bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain or equivalent.
• APICS or ISM Certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing/warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day warehouse operations ensuring safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Manages production support, expediting materials, setting priorities, addressing issues.
• Develops procedures for receiving/auditing and ensures timely transactions.
• Leads a high-performing team, cross-trains staff, and ensures certifications ( forklift, first aid) are current.
