Job summary

Planet Pharma in Foster City, CA or Parsippany, NJ is seeking a dynamic professional to support and enhance the infrastructure and operations of the Vendor Relationship Management team.

The role will own initiatives to mature processes, tools, and templates for the Vendor Governance Framework, and support VRM operational activities such as mailboxes, presentation content, and eLearnings. You will work autonomously with high integrity and partner with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 5+ years in vendor management or PM in biotech/pharma.
• Strong project management and vendor governance experience.
• Experience with relationships with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in Clinical Trial Delivery or Drug Development lifecycle preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support: Own the management and delivery of day-to-day VRM activities.
• Project Leadership: Lead initiatives to improve vendor governance and collaboration.
• Process Optimization: Mature workflows and optimize vendor management practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams to foster relationships and communications.
• Governance & Reporting: Develop frameworks, tools, and reporting for VRM.
• Insights & Continuous Improvement: Analyze data to provide actionable recommendations.
• Meeting & Material Support: Coordinate meetings and prepare presentations for internal/external audiences.
