Job summary

Compa, a venture-backed AI startup, seeks a strategic VP of Finance to lead our finance organization as we scale from Series B onward. You’ll partner with the CEO and executive team to design capital strategy, forecasting, and governance, setting the foundation for potential IPO readiness.

You’ll build a high-performing finance function, drive metrics like ARR, CAC, LTV, and ensure scalable systems, controls, and treasury management as the business grows globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in venture-backed startups.
• Proven track record building scalable finance teams.
• Expertise in FP&A, forecasting, and growth modeling.
• Experience with AI credits-based and recurring revenue models.
• Strong board and investor communication.
• Ability to design scalable financial systems and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Shape company strategy through a financial lens with the CEO and exec team.
• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Build scalable finance systems and processes for growth.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, risk, and governance.
• Partner with leadership on fundraising and investor diligence.
