Job summary

Peregrine Technologies, backed by Silicon Valley investors, seeks a strategic VP of Finance to scale our financial engine as we enter a growth phase. You will own long-range planning, the annual operating plan, forecasting, and investment analysis, reporting to the CFO and partnering with the Controller.

You will build a high-performance FP&A team, automate processes with AI-native methods, and drive financial discipline across product lines, regions, and initiatives enabling data-driven

Qualifications

• 12+ years of finance experience, incl. FP&A and modeling.
• Experience scaling finance in high-growth tech startups or mature companies.
• Strong SQL/data fluency and ability to pull data.
• Exceptional communication with CEO/board.
• Experience with government contracting or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-year financial model and driver-based roadmap.
• Lead annual operating plan and headcount budgets.
• Establish monthly budget vs actual cadence and variance analysis.
• Develop go-to-market profitability and unit economics.
• Prepare narratives for CFO, board, and investors.
• Build FP&A team and leverage AI-native processes.
