Job summary

Engine is seeking a VP of Finance to partner with the CEO and lead finance across planning, reporting, and strategy. You will own capital allocation, fundraising, and performance reporting while shaping the financial narrative for the Board and investors. Build a scalable finance organization leveraging AI and automation.

You will drive forecasting, pricing insights, and long-range modeling to enable growth while maintaining financial discipline across a high-growth technology business.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, corporate finance, FP&A or related fields.
• Hands-on valuation, transaction execution and capital markets experience.
• Experience leading Finance at a high-growth tech/fintech/saaS/marketplace company.
• Exceptional financial modeling with three-statement views and unit economics.
• Proven FP&A and infrastructure building for scaling businesses.
• Experience evaluating pricing, monetization, new products and investments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO on growth strategy, investment priorities, resource allocation and profitability.
• Own fundraising, debt strategy, liquidity, M&A and investor relations.
• Lead quarterly forecasting, long-range modeling and operating cadence.
• Develop metrics and frameworks that illuminate revenue, margins and cash flow.
• Tell the company's financial story to Board, investors and lenders.
• Build and lead a high-performance Finance team with AI/automation.
