American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) seeks a visionary executive to grow membership, shape national policy solutions and guide a high-performing team. You will work across membership, policy and communications to advance APHSA's national impact.

You will collaborate with state and local human services leaders, federal partners and industry stakeholders to drive results and strengthen APHSA's mission nationwide.

Formación

• 10+ years in public human services, nonprofit management or social impact sectors, incl. ≥5 years in senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in public policy, social work, public administration, nonprofit management or related field; master's preferred.
• Track record of executing strategy, leading change and building partnerships.
• Knowledge of human services programs, practices and policy.

Responsabilidades

• Lead membership strategies to attract, retain and engage members.
• Oversee policy development and advocacy efforts, including monitoring legislation/regulations.
• Direct APHSA communications and media relations.
• Lead leadership teams for membership, policy and communications; align across functions.
