Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain; MBA preferred.
• 15 years progressive supply chain/operations experience in a leading organization; 5+ years in materials management; 7+ years in managing a team.
• Professional certifications (CPM, APICS) a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes supply chain capabilities in demand planning, warehousing, distribution, logistics and inventory management.
• Develops supply chain, sourcing and S&OP solutions to support operations and growth objectives.
• Leads cost reduction initiatives and develops a high-impact team to deliver competitive advantage.
• Drives execution of world-class supply chain operations to improve service and lower cost.
• Monitors and benchmarks key supply chain KPIs to inform operational decisions.
• Establishes contingency plans for sole source or critical items to prevent interruption.
• Develops programs to improve production quality and efficiency.
• Enforces policies and procedures as promulgated by VP of Procurement.
• Analyzes processes and recommends changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Maintains summary reports on Supply Chain Operations activities.
• Leads and mentors BU-level category managers and buyers to optimize service, cost, quality, and inventory.
