VSP Technologies seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, inventory, and planning, aligning with departments to optimize fill rate and inventory turnover. The role emphasizes strategic policy development, supplier negotiations, and ISO 9001 compliance.

You will guide the Inventory and Procurement teams, drive ERP-driven decisions, and ensure accurate forecasting and replenishment. A senior leadership position requiring strong vendor management and process improvement focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management or supply chain.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience managing procurement, inventory, planning, or supply chain teams.
• Experience developing and executing inventory optimization and purchasing strategies.
• Experience negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies, forecasting, demand planning, replenishment systems, and inventory accuracy programs.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, inventory management software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage, and develop the Inventory and Procurement teams.
• Develop, plan, organize, direct, communicate, manage and evaluate strategic inventory management policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and movements using the ERP system to meet delivery expectations.
• Coordinate with intercompany departments to align inventory activities.
• Investigate internal inventory incidents to verify and resolve issues.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers for favorable pricing and timely deliveries.
• Audit and qualify suppliers per ISO 9001 requirements.
• Assist departments with vendor, product, deliveries, and sourcing info.
• Check invoice discrepancies in areas of responsibility.
• Foster a cooperative and productive work climate for morale and efficiency.
• Promote the company and its products to enhance public recognition.
• Implement and uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental policies; support continuous improvement.
