Job summary

The Greater Phoenix Chamber seeks a strategic Vice President, Finance, Treasury & Operations to join its senior leadership, reporting to the President & CEO. This role shapes financial strategy and operational performance across both the Chamber and its Foundation.

You will advise the CEO and leadership on financial planning, lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury and multi-year strategy, and present to Board committees. This role oversees controls, compliance, HR, and finance/talent teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required. MBA/CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of senior finance/operations leadership experience.
• Expertise in financial strategy, treasury, GAAP, controls, and operational leadership.
• Nonprofit/association experience strongly valued; 501(c)(6)/501(c)(3) exposure is a plus).
• Strong judgment, communication, and Board presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO and leadership on financial planning, growth, and operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury, liquidity, and multi-year financial strategy.
• Deliver actionable analyses and present critical matters to Boards/Board committees.
• Strengthen controls, compliance, audit readiness, and systems across entities.
• Oversee HR, culture, performance, partnerships, and finance/talent teams.
