Job summary

Housing Trust Group, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Facility Management to lead maintenance strategy across its affordable housing portfolio. You will oversee procurement, contracts, and master service agreements while protecting asset quality and safety.

You will partner with maintenance leadership, property and asset management, and finance to drive cost efficiencies and scalable operations as HTG expands in Florida and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in multifamily facility/maintenance operations.
• Experience with procurement, bidding, vendor governance, and expense management.
• Ability to analyze property costs and verify negotiated savings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, life safety.
• Ability to lead through growth and communicate with executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate the Director of Maintenance; set priorities, performance expectations, and development goals.
• Evaluate portfolio standards for preventive maintenance, work orders, inspections, and resident service.
• Review regional results, identify underperforming communities, and require corrective plans.
• Partner with Property Management, Asset Management, Construction, and Finance on asset needs and budgets.
• Build a scalable maintenance operating model with clear decision rights and vendor coverage.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service expectations with vendors; develop master service agreements.
• Track savings and ensure durable expense reductions through growth.
