Job summary

HTG Management LLC is seeking an AVP of Asset Management to maximize financial, operational, and regulatory performance across a mixed portfolio including LIHTC and affordable housing. You will collaborate with property management, construction, development, and lenders to drive value and ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on asset oversight and strategic portfolio planning with strong emphasis on LIHTC, HUD/Section 8, and related programs.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in multifamily acquisitions or asset/portfolio management.
• Experience managing 10–20+ properties or 1,000–2,500+ units.
• LIHTC compliance, HUD/Section 8 programs, Year-15 experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner’s representative overseeing financial and operational performance.
• Review monthly operating financials and rent rolls; develop corrective actions.
• Coordinate site visits with property management to address issues.
• Develop annual operating budgets and business plans.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting for Owners.
• Be primary contact to investors, lenders, and JV partners.
