Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, or related discipline.
  • 18+ years of progressive contracts management experience, including senior leadership roles and depth in Federal and Defense Acquisition Regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal development, negotiation, risk identification/mitigation, and managing contracts throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams, drive financial outcomes, and resolve complex contract issues collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead as principal strategic advisor on contract-related matters.
  • Lead a 20+ person contracting team to align contracts with business objectives and compliance.
  • Shape negotiations and proposals for technology-related contracts under FAR/DFARS, CAS, and TINA.
  • Drive operational discipline in the contracts department and manage contractual risk and performance requirements.
  • Support program gate reviews, business strategy sessions, and program management reviews.
  • Mentor and develop the contracting workforce and enable cross-functional collaboration.
  • Engage with acquisition executives, contracting officers, and strategic partners to shape RFPs and outcomes.
