Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years nonprofit/volunteer management, sports, or admin experience preferred.
• Strong written and in-person communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel in-state.

Responsibilities

• Support Volunteer Services and serve as the primary contact for volunteer inquiries.
• Develop and maintain a volunteer recruitment plan across programs and events.
• Identify volunteer needs with staff and managers and provide recruitment support.
• Oversee background checks, certifications, and training components.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and data quality across systems.
• Coordinate volunteer recognition and thank-you efforts.
