Job summary

Border States is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, MO. Be part of a growing, employee-owned company and help manage VMI programs, inventory levels, and documentation. This role supports efficient warehouse operations and customer service within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include coordinating VMI processes, maintaining inventory, and using SAP/SupplyTrax for accurate deliveries and reporting. A forklift experience and readiness to travel as needed are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in warehouse distribution or city desk preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical products is a plus.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the VMI program with a clear vision of the VMI concept.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate with customers and branch on VMI changes.
• Perform SAP functions to ensure warehouse and deliveries run efficiently and accurately.
• Promote teamwork with Account Managers and coordinate VMI warehouses and equipment.
• Provide proactive customer service including order entry, expediting, pricing, returns, and delivery coordination.
