Job summary

Legends Global in Toledo, OH seeks a sales/marketing professional to act as liaison between Glass City Center and Destination Toledo. You will conduct on-site tours, quote rental rates, prepare contracts, and manage the sales calendar for all activities.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and 1–3 years in hospitality or related field; a related Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extremely strong customer service and client interaction skills required.
• Extremely strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail required.
• Excellent business writing, grammar and written communication skills required.
• Minimum of one-three years experience in the hospitality or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, Sports Management or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the Glass City Center and Destination Toledo (CVB).
• Conducts and facilitates on-site facility tours with the CVB, affiliated groups, and LEGENDS sourced prospects seeking to utilize an SMG facility – this to include prospective lease agreements/clients.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining the Sales and Marketing scheduling book and calendar for all sales and booking activities.
• Consults with current and prospective clients in order to sell available dates within an appropriate booking window/time period.
• Responsible for the issuing of contracts to clients for booking of the facility.
• Prepares and assures full compliance with rental contracts, and any/all other contract agreements.
• Provides quotes on rental rates for current, future and prospective clients; assists clients with questions pertaining to rental use of the facility.
• Responds to addresses and resolves all booking inquiries and concerns.
• Prepares bid letters and contracts needed in order to assist the CVB in soliciting conventions for the city.
• Prepares bid letters and contracts needed in order to secure LEGENDS sourced prospects.
• Attends marketing and sales industry-related meetings, seminars and conferences as needed.
• Effectively communicates and sells the benefits of any respective LEGENDS facility to prospective clients.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
