Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a senior leader to head global third-party risk management and onboarding from its Miami base. You will guide assessments, design remediation actions, and drive policy and procedure improvements across the enterprise.

You will manage a distributed team, collaborate with sourcing, legal, and IT, and ensure regulatory readiness and strong vendor relationships in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with at least 10 years in vendor risk management or compliance and onboarding.
• Deep knowledge of third-party risk management frameworks and processes.
• Proven track record designing and managing global programs.
• Experience leading distributed and virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME leadership to maintain and enhance global third-party risk management and onboarding programs.
• Define data gathering, preparation, and execution of risk and onboarding assessments for vendors and technologies.
• Develop remediation actions, mitigations, and contingency plans for identified risks.
• Design process improvements to risk management and onboarding programs and update policies and procedures.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with sourcing, legal, compliance, and IT to review contracts for policy and regulatory alignment.
• Monitor regulatory standards and readiness for changes.
