Global Facility Management and Construction is seeking a Vendor Recruiter to develop and maintain a strong network of suppliers across Melville, NY. This role emphasizes effective communication to deescalate vendor concerns and ensure regulatory compliance, partnering with multiple departments to meet business needs.

You will manage proactive vendor recruitment, maintain relationships, and ensure accurate and updated information in our systems, supporting mall maintenance and facilities projects

Responsibilities

• Handle proactive and reactive Vendor recruitment needs.
• Maintain relationships with current vendor base to support the business.
• Interpret technical information for compliance and documentation.
• Educate new recruits on current business practices and obtain compliance documents.
• Collect vendor territory, skills, and rates; keep data updated in the database.
• Assist clients located within malls by providing Mall Maintenance with needed compliance documents.
• Receive and address vendor inquiries; research issues and provide resolutions.
• Prepare vendor scorecards and provide feedback to management.
