Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Remote Vendor Manager to oversee third-party vendors supporting the Medicare Advantage health plan. You will serve as primary relationship manager, monitor performance, enforce SLAs, and drive continuous improvement with operations, compliance, IT, finance, legal, and clinical teams.

You will develop governance meetings, review vendor performance, manage contract life cycle with legal and procurement, identify cost savings, ensure regulatory compliance (CMS, HIPAA),

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vendor management or related fields in healthcare.
• Strong contract negotiation, vendor performance measurement, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and govern third-party vendors supporting the Medicare Advantage health plan.
• Serve as primary relationship manager and drive performance improvements.
• Develop and lead governance meetings, reviews, and action plans with vendors.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and contract obligations; identify cost savings and efficiencies.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and Operations to manage vendor life cycle.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and state requirements; manage risk.
