Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking an Analyst to support the EBTS VMO and vendor forensic analysis, overseeing a diverse vendor portfolio and driving governance across technology and professional services contracts.

You will monitor performance, contract changes, and service delivery while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize outcomes and ensure compliance. This role emphasizes data-driven decisions and cross-functional partnership within Horizon’s NJ footprint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 0–3 years experience in contract and vendor management activities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to review vendor performance, utilization, and business outcomes.
• Understand business needs, contractual requirements, and performance criteria for oversight.
• Support performance management through scorecards, monitoring tools, and assessments; review SLAs and guarantees with VROs and contract owners (80–100 vendors).
• Assist with vendor reviews, audits, documentation collection, and analysis to support governance and compliance.
• Develop and recommend process improvements to enhance vendor operations and efficiency.
• Review budget variances and spend trends; guide VROs on corrective actions and remediation.
• Serve as liaison for contractual issues, vendor disputes, and governance matters.
• Support enterprise vendor purchase orders, vendor reporting, data analysis, and related activities.
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and maintenance of SOPs and repository materials.
