Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Lead Security Analyst to oversee IT Security Governance and Operations. The role focuses on administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of critical security technologies while supporting enterprise-wide initiatives.

The candidate will manage RBAC provisioning, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents. A strong background in firewall technologies, VPNs, and cloud/security controls is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years IT security experience.
• Certifications CISSP, GIAC or CISAK preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recommend firewall change requests for approval.
• Analyze IDS/IPS events and security incidents.
• Provide RBAC provisioning and recertification support.
• Audit support: data for access control changes and investigations.
• Monitor and improve enterprise information security program.
• Develop security process metrics and monitoring measures.
