Goodwin Procter in Boston seeks a seasoned leader to own strategic vendor management within the Global Operations Team. You will partner with executives to optimize vendor ecosystems, drive performance, and govern procurement across offices.

Responsibilities include leading vendor strategy, overseeing budgets, and managing complex contracts and travel programs to deliver value and efficiency across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years in vendor management or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise-level vendor initiatives in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Vendor Ownership—serve as executive relationship owner for key administrative and operational service providers.
• Vendor Performance Management—establish scorecards, KPIs, SLAs, and lead business reviews.
• Operational Service Delivery—handle escalations and ensure high-quality vendor service across offices.
• Vendor Management Office Oversight—lead sourcing, governance, contracts, risk, and onboarding.
• Travel Program Oversight—manage strategic travel vendors and user experience.
• Financial and Business Management—partner with Finance on budgeting, planning, and savings opportunities.
• Financial Ownership & Vendor Budget Management—own budgets and financial oversight for major vendors.
