Job summary

American Bank & Trust seeks a growth-oriented IT professional to lead vCIO services for our Managed IT Services clients in a three-part hybrid role. You will guide technology strategy, budgets, and roadmaps while delivering proactive IT guidance.

You will manage onboarding, assist with projects, and conduct QBRs for assigned accounts, coordinating with ABT project managers and senior vCIOs to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in an MSP environment is required.
• 3–5 years in IT support, systems administration, or help desk.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Azure and AD, Windows Server.
• Solid networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) and security tools.
• Experience with RMM/PSA tools such as ConnectWise, N-central, Datto, or Kaseya.
• Proven project management ability and business-value communication.
• Strong client-facing communication, including executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary vCIO for assigned Managed IT Services clients.
• Provide strategic IT guidance, budgeting, and roadmaps.
• Conduct and present QBRs to stakeholders.
• Align IT initiatives with client goals and long-term planning.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support onboarding for new clients and coordinate deployment.
• Lead onboarding meetings, discovery, and deployment activities.
• Assist with escalated issues and complex deployments.
• Maintain documentation in ABT systems and runbooks.
