Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA seeks a Value Stream Lead (VSL) to manage the program lifecycle from bid through sustainment. You will drive budgeting, EVM, and IPDS gate activities while guiding cross-functional teams in design, tooling, and manufacturing decisions.

Qualified candidates lead complex programs, manage relationships, and deliver cost reductions with strategic planning. This onsite role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree with more experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, operations, engineering, proposals, or project management.
• Experience leading a team or managerial experience.
• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control budget; Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, analysis, and presentation, and understanding and use of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Support Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) gate activities and administration, including bid and proposal activities and risk and opportunity ownership.
• Recommend changes in product design, tooling, and manufacturing methods to improve programs.
• Data analysis with critical thinking and facilitate results through a cross- functional team.
• Manipulate and process reports and work artifacts with large amounts of data.
• Strategic and visionary planning, develop relationships and achieve buy-in from all relevant parties.
