Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace technology, seeks an Associate Director, Value Stream Management in Cedar Rapids. You will drive analyses translating modern airspace concepts into avionics capabilities and align cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end value streams.

Responsibilities include strategic planning for large programs, P&L ownership, and leading cross‑disciplinary teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or master’s) with related progressive experience in avionics.
• 12+ years in engineering, product management or related avionics roles.
• 8+ years designing, developing and deploying avionics systems, within cross-functional teams.
• 6+ years leading cross-functional or matrixed teams in avionics.
• 6+ years developing product investments, growth strategies, and annual planning.
• 4+ years participating in FAA or aviation industry committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead analyses translating airspace modernization concepts into avionics capabilities.
• Manage new products/services with market capabilities and offerings.
• Lead strategic planning and set objectives for large programs.
• Oversee workforce accountability for operations and customer projects.
• Manage large programs across geographic areas and product groups.
• Maintain P&L responsibility for value streams and ensure strategic goals.
• Chair IPTs and manage contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, and delivery.
