Latham & Watkins seeks an Associate Recruiting Specialist – US Programs in Washington, DC with hybrid in-office presence. The role coordinates the US summer program, pre-law internship program, and external partnerships while mentoring junior staff.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills are essential for success. Required: bachelor’s degree and at least five years in legal recruitment or professional services, plus proficiency with MS Office and ATS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services.
• Five or more cumulative years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting efforts for the US summer program, pre-law internship program, and external partnerships.
• Build relationships with firm attorneys, recruiting teams, and external partners; represent the firm at events.
• Prepare recruitment statistics, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Supervise coordinators and assistants, provide constructive feedback, and support staffing during peak periods.
• Ensure compliance and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
