Job summary
Pfizer Inc. is seeking a US Field Medical Operational Excellence Director to lead cross‑functional alignment and execution of medical plans. You will work with Finance, Compliance, and cross-functional partners to drive initiatives and standardized processes across Medical Affairs.
You will own enablement platforms, drive AI-enabled improvements, track performance metrics, and support governance with strong leadership and strategic thinking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a pharmaceutical or related field with extensive industry experience.
- Advanced degree is highly preferred for senior leadership.
- PharmD/PhD plus multiple years in pharma leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic alignment across Medical Affairs categories and asset teams.
- Lead change management and establish best-practice processes across functions.
- Coordinate with Finance, Contracts & Outsourcing, Compliance and Operational Excellence.
- Support governance and decision-making through asset-specific committees.
- Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, and field Medical activities.
- Provide enabling platform support and training for Field Medical teams.
