Job summary

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) seeks a Strategic Program Development Manager to serve as Georgia Tech's senior liaison to SRNL, aligning GT, SEI, and SRNL leadership goals through collaborative research and strategic opportunities.

The role facilitates connections between SRNL researchers and university partners, coordinates multi-institution proposals, and advances workforce development across energy, manufacturing, and national security.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of relevant working experience.
• Proven senior leadership experience in a national laboratory or equivalent research organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SRNL-GT strategic liaison to accelerate collaboration between SRNL and Georgia Tech and BSRA.
• Develop and manage large, multi-investigator proposals involving SRNL and GT.
• Coordinate SRNL participation in GT-led initiatives and workshops; align concepts with SRNL priorities.
• Identify opportunities for strategic joint faculty appointments and student engagement with SRNL.
• Represent SRNL-GT engagement in internal GT and SRNL meetings and external forums as appropriate.
