George Mason University’s University Business Consulting seeks a Consulting Director to lead large, strategic university projects and supervise senior consultants and interns. You will partner with GMU leaders to implement budgeting, transformation, and performance improvements across units.

The role requires strong leadership, program management, and communication with executive stakeholders, while guiding change management and strategy execution in a complex higher-ed environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or other graduate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience in project management, change management, and cross-functional leadership.
• Proven ability to lead complex university projects with senior leadership engagement.

• Lead strategic university projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and mentor UBC staff and interns, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Develop project work plans, charters, budgets, and communications plans.
• Manage stakeholders across departments and prepare executive updates.
• Drive practice development and new work opportunities for the UBC.
