Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive local advertising revenue by calling on agencies and new prospects, presenting compelling TV advertising solutions and building strong client relationships.

You will collaborate with station staff to place ads, explain rates, and develop schedules, while aiming to exceed revenue goals and grow assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Generates advertising revenue by calling on established agencies and new prospects.
• Delivers compelling sales presentations to clients.
• Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media.
• Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.
