Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Newark, NJ seeks a Trust Administrator within Global Trusts & Estates to support day-to-day administration of accounts under the Trust Officer, ensuring proper setup, beneficiary communications, and proactive risk and client service management.

You will collaborate with Tax Officers and trust counsel, handle estate and trust documents, and contribute to a team with a long history of fiduciary excellence in serving families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in the administration and support of trust and estates including fiduciary products, legal, tax and investments knowledge.
• Strong client servicing and proactive communication.
• Clear and concise communication, time management, adaptability to delegate, coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Open estate or trust accounts with the Account Opening Group.
• Interpret governing instruments to ensure proper record setup and tax records.
• Analyze wills and trust documents for legal, tax and investment issues.
• Manage day-to-day administration and minimize service issues.
• Coordinate with Tax Officers and trust counsel to resolve tax issues.
• Update beneficiaries information to support fiduciary duties and client service.
• Partner with clients’ other advisors to support trust services.
• Develop and deepen client relationships.
• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Bankers and Trust Officers on estate strategies.
