Job summary

The Custom Companies, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager – Truckload Brokerage to lead and optimize daily operations across our Full and Partial Truckload Brokerage division.

You will serve as the main liaison among customers, Account Management, Carrier Sales, and leadership to ensure service excellence. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in truckload brokerage or related operations, strong leadership, and a proactive, service-driven mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Full/Partial Truckload Brokerage or equivalent.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive operations.
• Proficiency with TMS and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational execution for truckload accounts and freight.
• Monitor load board and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Maintain visibility on all shipments and manage exceptions.
• Coordinate with Carrier Sales to secure capacity.
• Provide clear, timely communication with customers and internal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
