Job summary

Amex GBT Ovation is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Business Development to drive new SME client acquisitions across a defined territory in the US. This role emphasizes relationship-building with senior leaders and delivering customized travel management solutions.

You will lead prospecting, presentations, contracting, and onboarding, with a strong emphasis on ROI and long-term client success. Occasional travel and collaboration with internal partners are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to generate new business in a defined territory.
• Strong relationship management with senior leaders (CFOs and Procurement).
• Consultative sales approach and ROI-focused proposals.

Responsibilities

• Drive new sales from prospective SME clients within the territory.
• Travel 50% of time to meet clients and conduct searches.
• Present solutions and manage deals through the first 13 months after signing.
• Build and maintain senior-level client relationships and internal stakeholder alignment.
