You will plan, coordinate, and oversee the movement of goods to ensure timely, cost-efficient deliveries and support distribution center efficiency. You will mentor a logistics team, manage carrier relationships, and implement data-driven strategies to improve service levels and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, or supply chain.
• 10+ years in fast-paced distribution centers with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with automated distribution centers, high-volume picking, wave planning, and freight optimization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the transportation of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Manage relationships with carriers, negotiate contracts, and monitor carrier performance.
• Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor KPIs and drive decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
