Job summary

Ontex is seeking a Logistics Specialist (Transportation) to manage all aspects of transportation logistics, coordinating with carriers, onboarding new partners, and negotiating rates with procurement. You will oversee the Transporeon TMS, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements to optimize delivery performance.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, 3–5 years of experience in logistics, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation or logistics coordination within a manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environment.
• Experience managing carriers, 3PLs, or freight networks preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and Transporeon (TMS) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams for carrier onboarding and rate negotiation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with transportation procedures.
• Monitor transportation metrics and prepare performance reports.
