Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Senior Transportation Manager to oversee daily operations, strategic planning, client relationships, and service metrics. You will lead a team of Supervisors and hourly staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures across transportation operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years in transportation/logistics, with strong DOT/FMCSA knowledge and budget management experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret P&Ls and reports.
• Strong knowledge of transportation budgets, logistics networks, and fleet management.
• Experience overseeing inbound/outbound operations and dispatch.
• Ability to train and develop a team of supervisors and hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic policies to drive growth.
• Manage department budget and P&L to meet operating plans.
• Lead and develop a team while ensuring policy compliance.
• Drive efficiencies through systemic improvements and Lean culture.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Prepare and retain reports and records for transportation operations.
