Job summary

Croell, Inc. is seeking a Transportation, Logistics & Fleet Manager in Sundance, WY. You will oversee trucking, rail logistics, and fleet operations to ensure timely delivery for production needs.

The role includes budgeting, rate negotiation, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA safety standards. This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities and a $2000 sign-on bonus. Join a team that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and strong relationships with haulers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Consent to pre-employment work screen, MVR, and drug test.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in recordkeeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and dispatch company drivers and independent haulers to meet production and customer delivery demands.
• Monitor truck payloads, routes, and efficiencies to maximize productivity while complying with weight regulations.
• Negotiate, monitor, and evaluate trucking rates for cost-effective transportation services.
• Build and maintain relationships with independent haulers, vendors, and material suppliers.
• Manage cement and fly ash rail operations, including rail car ordering and scheduling.
• Oversee maintenance and repair programs for semi-trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Ensure DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements are met; maintain records and participate in training.
