Job summary

Takeda seeks a Transplant Key Account Manager in the USA (Phoenix) to lead strategic account planning, access negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with transplant centers, surgeons, and allied healthcare teams. You will drive sales, develop executive relationships, and educate stakeholders on Takeda’s transplant portfolio in alignment with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced business or scientific degree preferred.
• 5 years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharma/biotech/medical devices.
• Develop and execute business plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Launch business development programs and strategy for execution.
• Advanced negotiation, strategy, presentation, analytics, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience in transplant or rare disease is a plus.
• Account-based sales across hospitals, health systems, infusion centers or large practices.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales targets and MBO goals.
• Develop strategic account plans and stakeholder maps.
• Gain access for specialty products within transplant centers and formulary pathways.
• Conduct account management across transplant centers in the territory.
• Build relationships with executive level, operations, financial and pharmacy staff.
• Educate thought leaders and clinical experts to inform institutional protocols.
• Develop cross-functional business plans for high-volume centers and launches.
