Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Director, Strategy & Business Transformation to join the Laboratory Chemical Division leadership team. This role shapes LCD’s long-term strategy, leads STRAP and Strategy Deployment, and drives high-impact transformation initiatives for sustainable growth and earnings improvement.

The position translates strategy into prioritized initiatives with clear KPIs, milestones, and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Finance, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across strategy, business transformation, operations, or general management.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into measurable business results.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional transformation and change.
• Strong business and financial acumen with growth, productivity, margin expansion, and earnings improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Division President and DLT to shape LCD’s long-term strategy and strategic priorities.
• Own and lead STRAP, integrating market, customer, competitive, portfolio, operational, technology, and financial perspectives.
• Lead Strategy Deployment, translating STRAP into initiatives, KPIs, milestones, and accountable owners.
• Drive high-impact, cross-functional transformation and change initiatives across LCD.
• Serve as strategic advisor to the Division President and DLT and mobilize teams across units.
