Job summary

The City of New York's Housing Preservation & Development department seeks a Senior Advisor for Transformation & Delivery to advance HPD’s top initiatives, working across the agency to solve complex operational challenges and drive implementation, planning, and execution with agency leadership.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree and four years of full-time professional experience in relevant fields.
• Experience in supervisory/administrative/managerial roles for at least 18 months.
• Equivalent combination accepted with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-priority, cross-cutting initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Develop workplans, milestones, roles, and decision points.
• Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies, risks, and priorities.
• Use data to assess progress and recommend course corrections.
• Develop materials to support senior leadership decision-making.
• Support launch and stabilization of new initiatives and operating models.
