Job summary

Humana is seeking a Strategy Advancement Advisor within the People Innovation team in Washington, DC, to translate workforce priorities into focused strategies and measurable outcomes. You will partner with HR and business leaders to frame challenges, synthesize insights, and move initiatives from strategy through execution, balancing ambiguity with structured action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years in strategy, consulting, transformation, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, transformation, organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience leading complex projects or strategic workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects and workstreams addressing workforce and HR transformation priorities.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to diagnose challenges, set objectives, and define success measures.
• Conduct and synthesize quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
• Develop enterprise strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and implementation considerations.
• Facilitate interviews, working sessions, and cross-functional discussions to build alignment.
• Create executive presentations and materials outlining opportunities, choices, and actions.
• Coordinate across HR centers of excellence, HR business partners, technology, finance, and business teams.
• Establish governance, milestones, and performance measures; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Support portfolio prioritization by evaluating strategic alignment, impact, feasibility, and value.
• Foster a collaborative, fact-based culture and strengthen strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
