Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Strategic Transactions Attorney to lead drafting and negotiation of complex strategic agreements across Consumer & Community Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, and the Private Bank.

Qualifications

Licensed attorney with at least 5 years of legal experience.
Experience advising banking or fintech organizations on consumer and small business products and services.
Strong negotiation and technical drafting skills.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with the Legal team and internal clients.
Entrepreneurial, business-minded, and a practical problem solver.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate strategic partnership agreements with payment networks and co-brand card programs.
Provide strategic, commercially pragmatic advice to business partners.
Support cross-functional teams with contract interpretation and guidance.
Offer early-stage legal input and risk assessment for potential deals.
Coordinate with external counsel as required.
