Job summary

AdvanSix seeks a Workforce Development Manager to lead the training and readiness at the Hopewell site, building programs that empower operators to meet site goals efficiently. You will partner with site leaders and HR to ensure stability and a strong talent pipeline.

Responsibilities include developing and standardizing training KPIs, mentoring trainers, and managing the learning plan and budget to sustain long-term growth and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Instructional Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing with experience in training/learning curriculum design and development.
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt (or Blackbelt) certification or equivalent experience implementing productivity / continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall training and learning strategy for the Hopewell site.
• Develop training programs to enable employees to meet organizational goals.
• Plan to accelerate operator progression and reduce qualification cycle time.
• Drive continuous improvement of training processes and materials.
• Oversee training budget and coordination of grants and approvals.
