Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and execute training plans that align with business goals. You will lead a team delivering, planning, scheduling, and developing training to improve employee performance and program effectiveness.

The role involves managing records, reporting to leadership, and coordinating with regional teams. You will partner with management and P&C to build high-performance teams, design impact-focused curricula, and drive compliance training while leveraging

Responsibilities

Lead interface with management and stakeholders to determine training needs.
Work with Managers and P&C on high performance teams through progression development.
Develop training plans aligned to business objectives.
Collaborate with regional and global training teams to deliver corporate training initiatives.
Manage training department staff including performance.
Oversee design of training programs and schedules based on needs and processes.
Oversee annual compliance training programs.
Research new training technologies to incorporate innovations.
Develop training effectiveness programs to monitor success.
Evolve training programs using continuous improvement.
Coordinate on-the-job training with supervisor/manager.
Lead selection and management of outside trainers for specific topics.
Maintain training records for attendance in compliance with standards.
Evaluate training for evidence of effectiveness.
Keep programs interactive using adult learning theory.
Work different shifts to support training needs.
Other duties as assigned.
