Vestas is seeking an experienced Technician III, Lead to maintain and troubleshoot wind turbines, focusing on hydraulic and electrical control systems. You will work with a team, applying advanced knowledge to ensure safe, efficient operation and continuous improvement of turbine performance.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior technicians, coordinating with account teams, and adhering to strict safety protocols while delivering high-quality service and robust action plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of wind experience with heavy equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English.
• Physically fit with ability to work at heights and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols, perform safety inspections, and cultivate a culture of safety.
• Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance, share best practices, and support change initiatives.
• Document your work thoroughly and propose improvements to work instructions and operational processes.
• Support specialty projects and mentor junior technicians.
